Study Groups and Social Groups at St. Luke Church - some have details on sub-tabs

  • Fellowship is experienced each Sunday after the Divine Liturgy. There is food and opportunity to socialize with friends and newcomers in our parish. Join us.
  • Sunday School Classes including an Adult Class are provided, after the Sunday Fellowship, September - May, 11a - noon.
  • Men’s Groups: Monthly breakfast and book study; Weekly breakfast group in Longmont; Zoom group study.
  • There are two Women’s Book Studies and Fellowships in homes. These are part of our Antiochian Women's organization. One group is in Broomfield. Another is in Longmont. They also had a women's retreat last January.
  • A Bible Study is offered on Saturdays before Vespers, September - May. Fr David teaches. We are currently finishing the Gospel of Matthew.
  • Youth Group have monthly meetings & activities, usually on a Saturday; Many in the group go to Camps in the Summer. They also have participated in Retreats.
  • Homeschool Co-op meets on Monday mornings: Sept. - May. This could increase in the future, and there is vision for an Orthodox School.
  • Feast Day Dinners are provided during the year, following our Divine Liturgy on these Feast Days.
  • Inquirer Classes for newcomers have been offered. We have links to previous classes. Last year the Saturday Bible Study was mostly attended by newcomers.
  • Newcomers meet individually with the priest to read, discuss questions, and prepare for Baptism or Chrismation.
  • College Group: Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF) is active in our area, both at the University of Colorado, and other locations for meetings and retreats. This is a Pan-Orthodox group.
  • Young Adults have occasionally met for social events and retreats.
  • Marriage enrichment groups have met at our church, and pre-marital counseling is given for those engaged.
  • MOPS has meet at our Church, but has not re-started after the Covid restrictions ended.
